Bitdeer secures 65.1 MW A202 on its Johor campus under a 10-year data-center deal

Bitdeer Technologies Group, through Bitdeer AI, said it entered a 10-year data-center services agreement for A202, a 65.1 megawatt (critical IT load) AI Cloud facility on the same Johor Bahru, Malaysia campus as its 21.7 MW A201 hall. Energization is expected in the third quarter of 2027. With A201, the Johor campus would total 86.8 MW. Bitdeer says secured AI Cloud data-center capacity—owned or under an executed data-center services agreement—now totals about 206.5 MW, or about 59% of its target of up to 350 MW to be delivered by the first quarter of 2028. The release states no offtake has been signed yet for A201 or A202.

Why it matters

A202 is Bitdeer’s largest single Southeast Asia capacity add toward the 350 MW AI Cloud target, but it is still a landlord-style data-center services seat without a named GPU offtake.
