CleanSpark flags 585 MW baseload and 300 MW studied load in Texas
CleanSpark’s August 2026 operational update said it received notice of conditional Batch Zero classification for both of its Texas sites: 585 MW of contracted capacity for baseload designation and 300 MW for studied-load designation. CEO Matt Schultz tied the notice to cooperation with Governor Greg Abbott’s audit directive and work with ERCOT and the PUCT. The same release said Sandersville campus construction continues against previously disclosed $6.6 billion in contracted revenue with a high investment-grade tenant. August unaudited mining metrics included 593 bitcoin produced, peak operational hashrate of 50 EH/s, 1.8 GW under contract, and 808 MW utilized.
Why it matters
CleanSpark is another covered campus owner converting the private September 3 utility notices into an investor-facing Batch Zero claim, while keeping Sandersville’s contracted HPC build in the same disclosure.
