Keel taps PowerSecure for Moses Lake standby PowerBlocks

PowerSecure, a Southern Company subsidiary, announced an agreement with Keel Infrastructure (Nasdaq, TSX: KEEL), formerly Bitfarms, to design and deliver a scalable standby power solution built on PowerSecure PowerBlocks—modular onsite generation, controls, and electrical infrastructure—for Keel’s Moses Lake, Washington, data-center campus. The system is also described as supporting peak shaving (cutting grid draw during high-demand periods). Keel EVP of Operations Alex Brammer is quoted in the vendor release. Contract value, megawatts, equipment count, installation schedule, and any tenant were not disclosed. Keel’s own IR press-release page did not post a matching issuer PR in the same window.

Why it matters

Moses Lake is Keel’s Pacific Northwest conversion campus; a named backup-generation OEM deal is progress on resiliency, but without capacity or schedule it is not yet a power or offtake milestone.
