Tuesday, Aug 25, 2026/Tuesday briefing
Lake Mariner is a power site first. The tenant question is second.
TeraWulf’s New York campus is the one investors can visit. The 10-Q does not turn a construction update into a contracted GPU cloud.
Summary
TeraWulf’s August 5 10-Q and 8-K are the current paper on Lake Mariner (Barker, NY) and the Nautilus JV in Pennsylvania. The New York site sits on a former coal plant with NYISO delivery. Nautilus sits behind nuclear at the Talen complex. Those are power facts. They are not tenant facts. HPC Daily will not attach a named GPU-cloud operator to Lake Mariner without an exhibit that does.
Why it matters
Upstate New York and nuclear-backed Pennsylvania are scarce. Scarcity is not a lease. The equity story keeps jumping from energized mining halls to contracted HPC as if the second were a formatting change. It is a counterparty change.

Risks
- NYISO and local process can stall a hall that a slide already colors in.
- The Nautilus JV is not a wholly-owned TeraWulf campus; economics sit in the JV documents.
- The April S-3ASR is shelf capacity. It is not evidence a tenant has signed.
